Spring Rec Softball
New Canaan Softball offers spring rec softball as a fun activity for players. For Kindergarten we offer a clinic style setup where girls will learn softball skills in a fun group setting. For 2nd grade and below we offer Coach Pitch leagues where girls can learn in game softball skills in a fun environment. And then for our older girls we offer Kid pitch leagues where the girls themselves get to pitch!

Equipment Needed
- Athletic Clothes (T-Shirt, Shorts/Athletic Pants)
- Athletic Shoes (No Cleats)
- Softball Mitt
- Fielding Mask
- Bat
- Please note, we will not have spare gloves or masks for girls to use
Schedule:
1:00 PM - 1:45 PM - Grades 5 - 8
1:45 PM - 2:45 PM - Grades 2 - 4
Players should arrive 10-15 minutes early to get signed in and their player numbers
Travel players for 2026 - 2027 season do NOT need to tryout
