Accelerator Program

The Accelerator Program is a structured developmental program designed to keep girls engaged in softball and build the skills they need to compete for travel spots in future seasons. It runs alongside the Travel Program as a sister program, sharing the same coaching staff, facilities, and development philosophy.

Program Goals

The Accelerator Program is built for players who are developing their skills and want a meaningful, coached experience beyond recreational softball. Players will receive quality instruction, continue building fundamentals, and serve as trained alternates for age-level travel teams when rosters need filling.

What's Included

Fall: Once-a-week instructor-led practice with alternating hitting and fielding drills and Rec league games.

Winter: Weekly hitting instruction with private professional instructors — the same facility used by the Travel Program.

Spring/Summer: Weekly instructor-led practice, Rec enrollment.

Cost

The Accelerator Program costs between $1,100 - $1,500 per year depending on age level. Uniform purchase is not required.

Relationship to the Travel Program

The Accelerator Program is a sister program to the New Canaan Travel Program. Players train at the same facility and with the same instructional resources as the travel team, creating a natural path for players ready to step up in future seasons.
